What is an Impact Account?
An Impact Account helps you manage your charitable giving all in one place. Support multiple charities, manage tax receipts and recurring donations, and decide where to give now or later.
Is it free to create and use an Impact Account?
Yes. There are no sign-up, transaction, or account-balance fees. Credit card donations have a 2.8% processing fee; pre-authorized debit and cheque have no processing fee. Other than the credit card processing fee (if applicable), charities you donate to through Charitable Impact will receive 100% of the funds.
Can I give to any Canadian registered charity?
Yes. You can use Charitable Impact to search for and give to any Canadian registered charity.
When do I receive my tax receipt?
You receive your tax receipt immediately when you add money to your Impact Account, before deciding which charities to support. You can take as much time as you need before deciding which charity to support.
