### Give today to stop the dog meat trade in South Korea.

Last August, Humane Society International received an unexpected plea for help when residents contacted local authorities reporting yelps and screams coming from a neighboring farm on Jindo Island in South Korea. **What local authorities found there were typical heart-wrenching scenes of a dog meat farm.**

Fortunately, HSI was able to rescue these dogs, and they’ve been safe in their care, waiting at our partner's boarding facility in South Korea until flights were available.

We’re eager to get these dogs placed with our shelter and rescue partners throughout the U.S. and Canada, where they’ll continue transitioning into their new lives and receive the care and rehabilitation they need as their journey to loving homes begins.

#### Please give today to end the dog meat trade and help in the fight against animal cruelty worldwide.
